Hello, I’m Kelly a Canadian painter based in Edmonton, Alberta.
With a love of nature and the freedom of abstraction, my art allows me to express the beauty and freedom I find in them. Originally from a small town north of Edmonton I grew up inspired by the beauty of the Alberta prairies. Wide open spaces as far as the eye can see. Equally inspired by my Mom's beautiful garden and love of nature and flowers, its evident in how it comes across in my work.
Painting allows me to create in an expressive and intuitive process. It allows me to express color and mark making to work with emotion. You'll see in my work a lot of landscapes and florals in acrylic on canvas. However most recently my sketching style with watercolour and pen has come forward.

I graduated from the Alberta University of the Arts in Calgary in 2013 with a Bachelor of Visual Communication Design and I currently work as a graphic designer at a local agency. Though I’ve been creating my whole life I’ve been painting for the last eight years.
